The Storm: First Read

Just finished reading my first ever story.  It took about 2 hours.  I apparently use the phrase “a bit” a bit too much.  Still it was a good read.  I’m probably supposed to be my own worst critic, but Stephen King was right.  When you read your own stuff.  Stuff you stayed true to and have now forgotten, even in its raw form its a treat to read for the first time.   It was a treat.  I am happy to have written it and will now start the editing process.   I definitely have some things to fix, but I think you guys will enjoy this story.  I’ll get it up on Amazon as soon as I can.

I’m going to take a bit of a break on Story Time.   It’s taken over my efforts to get to 1000+ words a day and to be honest things have just started getting really busy at home.  I also need to read more.  If  I’m going to make a serious go at being an author I need to read more.  I have some HP Lovecraft going on, some HG Wells, and finally some Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.  I’m finding “A Study in Scarlet” to be really captivating.

I think I’m going to continue to get some Story Time out there, but I’ll probably complete the story in its entirety first, then post parts of it up over time.  This way I wont miss a day like I did on the Les Paul story.  And I can schedule it all out so you guys have tons of content coming without me having to worry about it.   I’ll drop hints as to what I’m working on.  I might also take suggestions.  If you have any, please feel free to drop them off.  In comments or email’s  You can always e-mail me at Inqu31ing at gmail dot com.  I will answer anything that comes my way.  😀
